Stécia 2002 (Appelation Coteaux du Languedoc), a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan Appelation Coteaux du Languedoc Red wine 2002 vintage Limestone and clay pebbly terraces From individual parcels Syrah 17 and 7 year old vines producing 40 hl/ha 60% Grenache 38 year old vines producing 41 hl/ha 25% Carignan 45 year old vines producing 25 hl/ha 15% Partly traditional maceration and partly cold pre-fermentation for 17 and 20 days with daily delestage (rack and return) or pumping over. Partly whole-grape carbonic maceration for 13 and 19 days. 13% vol. 12 months in vats and bottle-age for 12 months A brilliant colour. An easy-drinking wine, fruity (blackcurrant) and rounded on the palate.
